St. Robert Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion
With dramatic growth spurred by the expansion of Fort Leonard Wood in 1997, the City of St. Robert faced some very interesting challenges with their infrastructure. Each of their utility systems were being taxed by the new commercial and residential development that accompanied the Fort Leonard Wood expansion. Archer evaluated each of their infrastructure systems and identified recommended improvements for expansion and operation enhancement. In addition, we identified innovative financing mechanisms for each system to optimize the use of the City's funds.
Archer guided the City through the SRF process for the expansion of their wastewater treatment plant. This project doubled the treatment capacity including additional aeration basins, flow monitoring, aerated sludge basins, clarifiers, grit removal improvements, UV disinfection and effluent pump station.
Archer provided comprehensive facility planning, design, construction administration, construction inspection, and is currently assisting through full start-up services.
