St. Robert Pump Station No. 6 Replacement and Interceptor and Forcemain
CM Archer Group assisted the City of St. Robert in the facility planning and implementation of a major sanitary sewer system expansion and replacement project.
The project is being developed in two phases, including the Pump Station No. 6 Replacement and the Pump Station No. 6 Interceptor and Forcemain.
The replacement project includes the site work, construction, testing, and placing into service a new sanitary sewer pump station that shall be rated at approximately 2,200 gallons per minute system capacity. The pump station major subsystems includes concrete structures and a pre-cast concrete building; piping, pumping, valving, manholes, electrical, controls, telephone, water, and natural gas systems; a permanent, natural gas fueled backup (standby) electrical generator system; and all related facility appurtenances.
The project shall be executed in conjunction with a new sanitary system force main and gravity interceptor pipeline construction project which includes approximately 2,700 LF of 18-in PVC gravity sewer line, 15 manholes, 12,000 LF of 16-inch SDR 11 C905 PVC Forcemain, 8 gate valve assemblies, 5 combination air valve assemblies and two 16-inch highway crossings in steel casing pipe.
Each phase of the project shall include a combined and coordinated effort for final system interconnections, testing, start-up, and placing new system into service.
