North Parker Lane Electric Substation Improvements
CM Archer assisted the City of St. James in preparing site and foundation plans for the North Parker Lane Substation project.
This is an initial step in an overall Capital Improvements Plan to increase system voltage from 4,160 V to 12.420 V.
The project included the construction of a 6x10x4.5 foot reinforced concrete equipment pad along with construction of six additional reinforced concrete pads, three 24-inch diameter drilled piers and ten 18-inch diameter drilled piers.
CM Archer prepared plans and specifications showing the general scope, extent, and character of the improvements and assisted in soliciting bids.
After the bid was awarded, Archer provided construction administration and observation on a daily basis during critical construction activities.
