Steelville Electrical Distribution System
CM Archer was hired by EDM Incorporated as their consultant, in the matter of providing design services and construction observation services for the Steelville, Missouri Electrical Distribution System Main Feeder Improvements project. EDM was contracted by Missouri Engineering through their contract with the City. The project included the replacement of approximately 10,000 feet of nearly 50 year old overhead primary between the power transmission provider substation and the City owned substation. The improvements included 12.4 kV, 3-phase #336 ACSR main feeder, substation interconnections and circuit protection.
CM Archer provided construction drawings and technical specifications for the City's use in the bidding process. During construction, CM Archer conducted site visits, for the purpose of reviewing construction for general conformance with the design documents and applicable U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Utility Services Specifications and Drawings for 12.47/7.2kV Line Construction.
