St. Clair Casablanca Water and Sewer Extension
CM Archer Group, P.C. served as the Engineer for the City of St. Clair to prepare a design memorandum to set forth the design criteria, projected land use, projected flows and service area for Casablanca Water and Sewer Extension.
The Engineer prepared detailed plans and specifications for the construction of water mains from an existing 8" water main near Hwy. 47 to the point of connection at Casablanca Subdivision, approximately 3,500 lineal feet, along with construction of a gravity sewer main from the point of connection to Casablanca Subdivision to the proposed sewage lift station.
The Engineer also prepared detailed plans and specifications for the construction of a Sewage Pump Station and Force Main to serve Casablanca Subdivision and Runway Estates as well as additional properties. The pump station is located on City Airport property. The force main shall parallel the proposed water line alignment and discharge to gravity sewer near the Sinclair station on Hwy. 47.
The City of St. Clair then requested a change in alignment/location of the improvements to also accommodate additional development along the Hwy. 47 corridor. In addition, the amended project also included the construction of gravity sewer mains through the Casablanca Subdivision to serve Runway Estates, the cost of which shall be reimbursed by the developer to the City upon development of the project.
