Interstate Plaza/Northtown Village Transportation District - McKinnon Street Extension
CM Archer is currently assisting the Interstate Plaza/Northtown Village Transportation Development District (IP/NV TDD) in implementing their transportation master plan, the mission of which is to not only in improve traffic circulation within the district, but also provide commercial roadways to facilitate development, thereby increasing the district's revenue. The current project includes a commercial roadway that will extend Carson Blvd. approximately < mile north of the new Lowe's facility. At that point Carson Blvd. will intersect with the proposed McKinnon Street Extension, looping back to St. Robert Blvd. This improvement will open up approximately 200 acres of developable commercial ground.
The project includes approximately 5,500 lineal feet of 40' wide commercial roadway, sidewalks, street lights, utility extensions, 200,000 cubic yards of excavation/embankment and a 300 foot box culvert.
This project, budgeted at $2.7 Million, is scheduled to be constructed in the summer of 2008.
