Hermann West Tenth, Jefferson and Stark Boulevard Street Improvements
This project consisted of street improvements including demolition and reconstruction of approximately 1,260 lineal feet of West Tenth Street, 1,750 lineal feet of Jefferson Street and 2,375 lineal feet of Stark Boulevard located in Hermann, Missouri. The project included engineering of concrete barrier curb and gutter including forming, pouring, backfill, topsoil and seeding along with demolition, excavation and subgrade preparation to specified grades and elevations; asphaltic concrete cement pavement and Portland concrete cement pavement per MoDOT Standards and Specifications; concrete drive entrances and swales including demolition, excavation, fill, subgrade preparation, granular base, backfill, topsoil and seeding; 18" HDPE; 4" thick PCC sidewalk, installed complete, to widths specified or to match existing sidewalks including ADA accessibility curb ramps; double throat storm boxes installed including manhole, grate and appurtenances; meter main and hydrant relocation including hydrant, isolation valve, piping trenching, tie in, testing and removal of existing and base stabilization.
This project required a very high level of cooperation between utilities, affected property and business owners as well as area residents. The project required good coordination between the Engineer and the City of Hermann Staff.
