Hermann Bavarian Hills Boulevard
Bavarian Hills Boulevard is a four phase project. Phase 1 and Phase 2 consisted of the rough-in construction of approximately 2500 lineal feet of commercial road base and crossroad storm drainage. This phase included engineering of bonding and mobilization, clearing and grubbing, excavation, 18", 24", 30" and 48" RCP storm pipe, 18", 24", 30" and 48" flared end sections and rip rap outlet protection, a rip rap lined ditch, rock check dam, erosion control, hydroseeding, 12" steel utility casing per MoDOT specifications, 10" PVC water pipe and 4" SDR 13.5 HDPE conduit.
Phase 3 includes approximately 5,700 square yards of 8 non-reinforced concrete pavement and 3,210 square yards of 4 = inch asphalt pavement.
Phase 4 will include waterline and natural gas extensions.
This project has required a very high level of cooperation between utilities, affected property and business owners as well as area residents. The project required good coordination between the Engineer and the City of Hermann Staff.
