Crocker Water Study
The existing water distribution system for the City of Crocker was installed beginning in 1939. The system has been upgraded and expanded as it was required to accommodate growth and repair operations. Proposed development of the commercial and residential sites in and around the city of Crocker will place additional demands on its existing water distribution and storage system. The existing water distribution system for the City must be evaluated to help determine the recommended repairs and upgrades for the system needed to allow for future growth and development.
Archer applied and received funding through USDA-Rural Development to evaluate Crocker's existing water distribution system, evaluate the City's existing needs, estimate the future demands of the system and identify the facilities and improvements needed to meet these present and future demands.
Archer will publish a report to the City to include the review of existing water supply facilities within the City limits; provide projects of future water supply requirements for domestic consumption and fire fighting; identify water supply, storage and distribution facilities necessary to meet existing and future needs; estimate the cost of needed improvements and consider scheduling, financing and implementation of the needed improvements.
