Mr. Conaway currently serves as a Project Manager for CM Archer Group, P.C. of Rolla, Missouri. Past experiences include eight years as a heavy construction engineer with the United States Army Airborne Corps, three years land and construction surveying, and ten years providing a variety of project engineering, design, and construction management projects with Archer Engineering.
Planning and Design Management - As a Professional Engineer for the Rolla office of Archer Engineers, Robert has performed and managed design teams in the performance of infrastructure deficiency analysis and drafted corresponding Engineering Reports and Facility Plans for submittal to funding and permitting agencies. Projects range in complexity from simple city street replacement to complex water and wastewater treatment and distribution systems. Duties include management of design-build and design-bid commercial, industrial, and residential development; design and implementation of residential and commercial storm water and municipal sanitary sewer collection pumping and treatment facilities; Inspection, research and construction of hydraulic water system models for analyzing, mapping, engineering reports, and designing improvements for municipal infrastructure systems, and drafting contract bidding and specifications documents specific to each project. Responsibilities also include providing long-range planning, cost-benefit analysis, user rate studies and financing assistance for a variety of municipal clients.
Client Services and Administration - Continuing Archer’s “Total Project Management” philosophy, Project Managers are dedicated to a project from its conception and planning all the way through its construction and implementation. Robert serves as Archer’s representative for providing day-to-day City Engineering services for several municipalities in the local area, often holding public works sessions, presenting issues at public meetings and participating with planning and zoning commissions to develop or revise codes and ordinances. Robert also administers the procurement and selection of contractors and oversees the construction of relative projects, holding scheduled progress meetings, administering contract documents, performing inspections and ensuring compliance with construction documents.
